Watching TV Shows Online

One of the drivers for the ShowFilter idea was the major television networks move to put more content online for viewing by consumers. To view complete episodes, all that is necessary is to navigate to the relevant network's web site and find the show you wish to watch.

The ShowFilter team is working on getting access to each streaming show straight from the ShowFilter Rate-Recommend Interface. Until then, please enjoy the direct links to online shows in the guide below.

Alpha Launch a Success

The Alpha version of ShowFilter, the premier TV show recommendation site on the web, launched on 11/22/07 at 3:33pm (1 day ahead of schedule). The team is currently limiting total user signups to 250 and is not actively promoting the site until Beta launch which is scheduled for 12/15/07.

The following features are available to current users:

-The Single Screen Rate-Recommend Interface: This is the first screen you see when you enter ShowFilter. The primary rating area is on the left and the recommendation area is on the right. As you rate, the recommendations will update in real-time!

-"Who's in the Room" (WITR): This feature is available by clicking the WITR icon on the toolbar within ShowFilter. It allows you to add other ShowFiltermembers to your room and see recommendations for an entire group of users.

-Invite a friend: Like ShowFilter? Recommend it to a friend by clicking the Invite a Friend icon on the toolbar. This will automatically send your friends an invitation email along with an optional personal message.
